Royal Custody.

Goal Guard operates under a strict custody policy we call Royal Custody. When you deposit funds toward a goal, those funds are placed under lock and held in custody until the goal's release conditions are satisfied.

This rigidity is deliberate. The value of Goal Guard comes from the fact that neither you nor anyone at Goal Guard can release the funds early. By creating a goal, you accept that your deposits are inaccessible until the goal completes.

Funds are released only when BOTH of the following conditions are met: (a) the goal's target amount has been fully funded, and (b) the goal's original release date has been reached.

When both conditions are satisfied, the goal unlocks and you may withdraw the full saved amount back to your original payment method. No partial releases, no early access, and no exceptions are granted under any circumstances, including emergencies.

If you enable an auto-pull, you authorize recurring charges against your chosen payment method on a weekly or monthly schedule. Each charge is automatically credited toward the goal's balance. The schedule is sized to fully fund the goal and stops on its own once the target amount is reached.

Per-pull amounts have a minimum of $1.00. You may stop future pulls at any time by canceling the goal — see section 4. Payments are processed by our payment provider; Goal Guard never stores your card details.

You may cancel a goal at any time before it unlocks. Canceling stops all future auto-pull charges immediately — no further money is taken from your payment method.

Importantly, cancellation does NOT unlock your funds. The money already saved toward the goal remains under Royal Custody and continues to be held until the goal's original release date. Once that date arrives, the canceled goal becomes eligible for release and you may withdraw the saved amount.

Use of Goal Guard requires an active membership at a flat rate of $5.00 per month, billed automatically through the same secure checkout. You may cancel your membership at any time from the Membership page; cancellation takes effect immediately.

Canceling your membership does not alter the release conditions of any goal. Saved funds remain locked until each goal's release date, and may still be withdrawn once unlocked.

Goal Guard provides no mechanism — for users, support staff, or administrators — to override the lock on a goal. Requests for early access will be declined. If you believe you may need the money sooner, set a nearer release date when creating the goal.
